Come celebrate the announcement of MOJA’s 40th Anniversary at Juneteenth on King. The City of Charleston’s Community Services Section is hosting a family-friendly block party on Wednesday, June 19th from 6:00-9:00 pm on King & Ann Streets Downtown.
Juneteenth on King will feature outdoor dining, live music, dancing, and artisan and crafts vendors. The festive celebration will have a music stage on Ann Street near the Visitor’s Center garage, hosting performers like The Legacy of Motown Band and Deninufay African Drum and Dance.
Support Black-owned businesses here in the Lowcountry as Black Expo hosts an upscale wine and spirits lounge in conjunction with the Juneteenth on King block party. Tickets to the Wine + Spirits Tasting Lounge event can be PURCHASED HERE.
There will also be advanced ticket sales for the 2024 MOJA Arts Festival.
