Theresa Hilliard, author, certified tour guide, teaching artist, Gullah Storyteller and Lecturer will be sharing stories from her personal experiences growing up Gullah on Edisto Island; along will folklore tales and history of the Gullah-Geechee people.
She authored three books, two documenting Gullah foods and one documenting African Americans historical markers throughout Charleston. She has done speaking engagements at many venues all around South Carolina and beyond.
