The MOJA Arts Festival Artistic Director Charlton Singleton and the Beehive Orchestra will have a FREE concert this Saturday, May 11th.
This year’s Concert will feature our very own Awendaw native and Grammy Award-winning artist, Charlton Singleton & his 10-piece Beehive Jazz Orchestra! To get the evening started, Daniel Island’s own, The Honeybees will be performing from 5 to 6 PM and local singer-songwriter Dylan Carter (from The Voice 2023) will warm up the crowd with his acoustic guitar and amazing voice from 6 to 7 PM!
Gather your family and friends, enjoy the scenery and shade of the beautiful Smythe Park oaks, and let Charlton and company get your toes tapping with their modern, up-tempo jazz music.
The MOJA Arts Festival is a multi-disciplinary festival produced annually and directed by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the MOJA Planning Committee, an all-volunteer community arts and cultural group.
Additional assistance and guidance is provided by the less formal networks of the MOJA Advisory Board, a group of civic leaders who assist with fundraising and advocacy, and the Friends of MOJA patron circle, representing individual and corporate donors.
