The experience unfolds through a gallery featuring a dynamic group of artists including the three most recent Moja Arts Festival poster artists alongside a live poetic play that weaves the voices of five poets into a story of roots\, resolution\, and renaissance\, arranged by Charleston Poet Laureate A$iahMae and backed by a music trio. \nA public workshop designed to deepen community conversation around Black Futures Month and the vital role art plays in shaping a collective renaissance will be held earlier in the day in The Drawing Room of the Dock Street Theatre from 3:00-4:30pm.
