This year, the Festival took place from October 1 - October 14, 1985.
The MOJA Festival continued its celebration of the arts, traditions, and heritage of African and Caribbean cultures with a special emphasis on American black history.
The Theatre Series featured Sty of the Blind Pig, Livin’ Fat and the 50th Anniversary of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess.
